USA: Diageo appoints Jim Young as president of Diageo-Guinness USA (DGUSA)

Ivan Menezes, president and CEO of Diageo North America announced that Jim Young has been appointed president of Diageo-Guinness USA (DGUSA). Mr Young takes over for Dave Eickholt, who is retiring after 28 years with the company, Drinks Business Review announced September 08.

Mr Young, who was acting joint managing director for Diageo Great Britain, will move to his new position, effective September 15. The role that will make him responsible for growth and development of Diageo's beer and flavored malt beverage portfolio in the US.

Mr Menezes said: "With more than 20 years' experience in the beer, wine and spirits industry, Jim will further advance Diageo's business within the beer category."
